Yeet Me! ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application that detects when you throw your phone onto a soft surface and plays a sound effect. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our app.
Information We Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data ourselves. However, the third-party SDKs we use may collect certain data automatically:
- Accelerometer / sensor data — used locally on your device to detect throw gestures. This data is never sent off-device.
- Advertising data — Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
- Audio files you add — custom sound files you choose from your storage are copied locally into the app's private folder. They are never uploaded.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Yeet Me! uses Google AdMob to display banner and rewarded ads. AdMob may use cookies and similar technologies to show you relevant ads based on your interests.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we will request your consent before displaying personalized ads, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You may choose non-personalized ads or withdraw consent at any time by reinstalling the app.

Permissions
- INTERNET — required to load and display advertisements.
- HIGH_SAMPLING_RATE_SENSORS — required to read the accelerometer at high frequency for reliable throw detection.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE / WAKE_LOCK — required to keep the throw detector running while the screen is off.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — used to show a persistent notification while the detector service is active (Android 13+).
Data Retention
We do not retain any personal data. Custom sound files you add are stored only on your device and are deleted when you remove them inside the app or uninstall it.
Children's Privacy
Yeet Me! is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
